Utilizing special forming processes, Cavaform International is able to provide companies around the world with a cost effective, repeatable solution, which requires no electrode, no EDM operations, and minimal polishing without sacrificing hardness, quality, and durability. The most unique operation is called Cavaform® (rotary swaging), we are the only source for plastic tooling that makes cavities this way. Deep draw, high polished parts with material hardness in the range of 50-60 Rc are common products produced at Cavaform. Cavaform International also has a unique hobbing process for making closure cavities in 420 and H-13 steels..
